Description

The title is reflective of the spirit of this piece as it is both shimmering and exuberant. A bold rhythmic opening statement from the ensemble introduces the energetic theme and active background, bright, steady and glittering. After slowing for a middle section that is darker in character, the original material returns, bright and beaming for the rousing conclusion.
