Ephemeroptera Redux

Description

Viola — This charming solo work is Amlin's second depiction of the short-lived Mayfly (ephemeroptera). The composer initially composed a two-movement EPHEMEROPTERAE for solo piccolo, and violists now have a revised edition in this refreshed view of the music in one movement. Compared to Amlin's other music for viola, EPHEMEROPTERA REDUX's rhythms are less challenging to navigate, and suitable for dedicated students as well as professionals.
