Description
Originally Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania was know as a glass manufacturing city, not steel. Because of the three rivers coming together at this point, there was plenty of sand to make glass. The Pittsburgh Plate Glass building is known as the “Glass Castle.” It is written in a fast/slow/fast three-part form. The beautiful middle section sounds so very Americana. The 1st trumpet’s highest note is F.
