Crossover Drums

Description

Crossover Drums' takes up the principle of combining multiple styles by mixing rock, fusion music and jazz. Based on a rondo movement, it consists of parts for both improvisation and notated passages. The sections are called: Marching Intro – Groove 1 – Riff 1 – Changes – Groove 2 – Riff 2 – Solo – Groove 3 – Interplay – Riff 3 – Canon – Riff 4. The score is only notated in the most important sections and for orientation only. The parts, however, fully reflect the music material. This is a very effective piece giving everyone the chance to develop his abilities to the full while at the same time it is fun when played in an ensemble.
