A brief descriptive miniature with a theme "from the heart of the Wild West," this recital piece is within reach of trumpeters of modest skills. Some 16ths and a punchy rhythm are augmented well by the piano line. Excellent 3rd year recital piece, possibly end of year two. Dur.: 3'30" For intermediate students.
