Description

A burlesque can be defined as an artistic composition, that, for the sake of laughter, vulgarizes lofty material or treats ordinary material with mock dignity. So it is with this quintet which recalls the days of vaudeville and the various sundry acts, skits or vingettes designed to do just that.
