Description

Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass — "To Mártág Kurtág" - the caption with which György Kurtág dedicates the setting of this strange love poem by József Attila to the pianist he had chosen as his life partner for three years in 1950 reveals the intimacy of their relationship, which continued for almost seventy years. The short choral work was performed for the first time in 1986 by the Savaria Vocal Ensemble after thirty-five years of oblivion.
