Sticks on a snaredrum rim may be substituted for the tambourine. This part is particularly important at m. 26. An energetic barn dance that will make a great effect with some footstomping and a little indulgence in a bit of old-time “fiddle playing” enthusiasm. This lively piece will have everyone smiling and toe-tapping, including the director!
