Description

Violin 1, Violin 2, Violin 3, Viola, Cello, Contrabass, Piano — If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of a large city, you might want to go to the countryside. Imagine the sensation of waking up in fresh air with the singing of the birds. The music of this piece is intended to evoke such a peaceful situation. The contrasts between the main melodies and the inner melodies may be seen everywhere. Especially from m. 26 the second violin is given the main melody. The first violin and the viola answer and should be heard clearly. From m. 31 the color of the sound changes. And finally at the end the sun rises in warmth and splendor. This piece by Yukiko Nishimura is intended to evoke a countryside respite. Imagine the sensation of waking up in the fresh air to the singing of the birds. As with all of her works, the melody is flowing and contemplative and the harmonies are lush.
