Description
An arrangement of The King's Alchemist (originally written for violin, viola and cello) for violin, clarinet and cello. The piece is inspired by John Damian, a European alchemist who was part of the court of James IV of Scotland in the 16th century. A colourful but controversial figure (widely known as the 'French leech'), he was infamous for his attempt to fly (literally) to France from the battlements of Stirling Castle -- a journey which ended in the rubbish tip at the foot of the battlements. This product is Printed on Demand and may take several weeks to fulfill.
