A Song Cycle for Tenor and Piano Ballads of a Bogman by Stephen McNeff is a song cycle for tenor and piano with poems by Irish poet Sigerson Clifford, which was developed in collaboration with singer Gavan Ring. The songs are arranged to suggest the journey of a person, rooted in County Kerry, who is ranging far and wide to rediscover the past on a quest for his true identity.Ballads of a Bogman was devised during 2021 as part of the Contemporary Music Centre Colleagues initiative at the CMC Dublin.
