Grab your beret and take a walk along the Seine River or perhaps enjoy an espresso at a Parisian caf�! In this delightful level 2.5 piece in G Major, the string bass section shines as the jazzy chords in the orchestra accompaniment conjure images of a sunny day in Paris. The harmonies in this piece introduce young orchestra students to chords typically found in French caf� jazz music, in particular the �flat VI chord.� While this piece highlights the bass section, it gives all sections plenty to do including trills, grace notes, and some optional third position work in the violins and violas.
