Garland Songs

Description

With music by William Penn and words based on the writings and poetry of Hamlin Garlin (19th century American short-story writer and novelist), this is a unique and beautiful collection of five songs for medium voice and piano.  Songs included: 1. Moggin' Along, 2. Then It's Spring (Part I), 3. Spring Rains and Out of the Mayweed, 4. Then It's Spring (Part II), and 5. A Cornfield In July and the River.  The fifth and final song in the collection has also been arranged by William Penn for medium voice with wind ensemble accompaniment.
