Mike Lewis treats the band right with this tasty, yet fun-to-play swinger, but throws some heat to the saxes with some fun solis and a clever modulation from E-flat to F. There are no improvised solos and the lead trumpet range is to a written G on top of the staff. Sounds great with reduced instrumentation and includes optional parts, too.
